Police Attach Property of Terrorist Handler in Handwara

In a decisive action against terrorism, police attached the property of terrorist handler Nazir Ahmad Ganai in Palpora village of Kralgund, Handwara, today. This step signifies a key move in breaking down the terror ecosystem in the region.

A police spokesperson confirmed the property attachment relates to FIR No. 73/2011 from the Police Station Kralgund. Investigations revealed Ganai, currently operating from Pakistan Occupied Jammu Kashmir (PoJK), has played a critical role in guiding and managing terror activities affecting local communities.

The spokesperson stated, “Following due legal procedures and after obtaining sanctions from the competent authority, we attached Ganai’s land in Palpora in the presence of police and revenue officials.” This action underlines the police’s commitment to dismantling support networks that facilitate terrorism.

Authorities emphasize that such measures serve as a deterrent to unlawful activities and are vital for maintaining peace, security, and stability in Handwara. The police reiterated that dismantling terror infrastructure is a priority that must be upheld rigorously.

“This initiative signifies our dedication to tackling terrorism,” asserted the police spokesperson. He urged citizens to cooperate in preserving law and order. The police warned that strict legal action awaits anyone found aiding anti-national elements.

The attachment of Ganai’s property marks one of several recent steps undertaken by the Jammu and Kashmir police to combat growing terrorism in the area. Over recent months, the police have intensified their operations against individuals financed by or directly linked to terror organizations.

Local sources indicate that the police’s stringent measures have generated significant public support for their actions against terrorism, fostering a sense of security among residents. Experts highlight that dismantling the financial and operational base of terrorist handlers is essential for long-term peace.

Community leaders have praised the police for their initiative and called for unified efforts to strengthen surveillance on anti-national activities. “We must all work together to ensure that our villages remain safe from the shadows of terrorism,” a local leader stated.

As police continue to act against terror support networks, they remain committed to transparency and community engagement. Citizens can report suspicious activities to law enforcement, fostering a collaborative approach to ensuring public safety.
