Doda, October 30, 2025:
Continuing the tradition of honoring the supreme sacrifices made by police martyrs and encouraging their wards to excel in education, Senior Superintendent of Police Doda, Shri Sandeep Mehta (JKPS), felicitated the outstanding wards of police martyrs of District Doda who have shown remarkable performance in the annual examinations of Police Public School, Doda.
The wards were presented with letters of appreciation, cash rewards of ₹1000 each, school bags, and notebooks as a token of encouragement for their hard work and dedication.
The students who secured excellent marks are:
1. Aruba Younis, D/o Martyr SPO Mohd Younis (No. 1752/SPO), R/o Gowari, Tehsil Gandoh — Scored 64.2% in Class 10th.
2. Rinku Devi, D/o Martyr SPO Jarman Singh (No. 285/SPO), R/o Joura, Tehsil Kahara — Scored 75% in Class 10th.
3. Rozia Banoo, D/o Martyr SPO Noor Mohd (No. 858/SPO), R/o Chanyas, Tehsil Gandoh — Scored 81% in Class 10th.
SSP Doda congratulated the meritorious students and appreciated their dedication, resilience, and commitment to achieving academic success despite challenges. He stated that the families of police martyrs remain an integral part of the Police Parivar, and assured that the department will continue to stand by them through all possible means of support and recognition.
The initiative aims to motivate the wards of police martyrs to pursue excellence in academics and uphold the values of integrity, service, and determination exemplified by their parents.
DySP DAR Doda, DySP Headquarters Doda, Principal Police Public School Doda, and the legal guardians of the students were also present on the occasion. The event concluded with a group photograph and a vote of thanks.
